Diane + Adam are so much fun to photograph! He’s always making jokes and funny faces, and she’s always cracking up. You might remember their super cool downtown engagement session, featured on my blog last year. Their Siena Golf Club wedding was just as amazing! The two got ready in separate rooms at JW Marriott Las Vegas, which has some of the best bridal suites in town. The girls sat on the bed toasting their champagne, when all of a sudden, the four flower girls (aka petal patrol) ran in the room, jumped on the bed and started yelling, “Pajama party!” They had us all laughing so hard! It was truly a memorable moment and I’m so happy I was able to capture those memories of Diane + Adam’s nieces. I also loved how Diane’s sister helped her get into her dress alone, and then opened the bedroom doors for the bridesmaids and moms to enter and see Diane dressed in her gown.
At Siena, we brought the couple outside and did a super sweet first look filled with laughter. It was a Spring day and one of the windiest weddings of 2017! As they were pronounced husband and wife, Adam dipped his wife dramatically during their first kiss, and as they walked back down the aisle, Diane’s dress train flew up beside her. Another favorite shot from the day! Diane added her stunning cathedral veil for portraits and we took the newlyweds around the grounds for some sunset shots. Diane had so many lovely ideas, and I just could have spent forever on their portraits. Alas, the sun set and it was time to party.
The reception was a mix of blush and ivory floral with elegant candle light and lantern centerpieces. The couple had the coolest custom engraved champagne glasses with a quote from my favorite series… “After all this time?” …. “Always.” High five if you know where that’s from! Harry Potter for life. 🙂 I also adored their buttercream frosted cake with a silhouette topper of the two with their beloved dog. As the dancing continued and the party went on, they brought out neon necklaces and turned off the lights. The fun energy in that room was contagious and we captured some great glowing dance shots. We were so honored to be a part of Diane + Adam’s wedding and couldn’t be happier for these two lovebirds. Congrats, guys!
