This new family of three has been such a joy to photograph over the years. I was honored to be the couple’s wedding photographer in 2013 and continued a friendship with them over the years, bonding over our mutual foodie-ness. 🙂 Then they contacted me this year to tell me they were expecting their first child! A few months ago, I shot their maternity portraits, and a few weeks ago, their newborn session!
Baby E is such a gorgeous, sweet little girl. She’s completely enamored with her mom and dad, and just wanted to gaze up at them the whole time. We managed to rock her to sleep a few times and captured some sleepy, swaddled portraits before she woke back up and squirmed her way out of her wrap! We used their couch, kitchen table, nursery, and bedroom for a variety of shots and poses to document this new life. I hope one day Baby E and her parents can look at these portraits and know how much she was loved and welcomed into this world!
