Amber + TJ planned and replanned their JW Marriott Las Vegas wedding several times. Originally hoping to get married in 2020, they opted instead for an intimate destination wedding in 2021 with just 30 of their closest friends and family. Amber and TJ are lovers of the outdoors from the east coast, where you can often find them hiking and skiing. They wanted their wedding to be a tribute to their love of nature, highlighting the resort property’s gardens. Both the ceremony and reception were held on at the Lodge on the Lawn, and decor featured lush, pastel florals in shades of blush, peach, white and cream. Farmhouse tables, taper candles, and a hedge wall with a custom neon sign completed the romantic scene. TJ had one of the best first look reactions I’ve ever seen, and Amber was equally emotional during the ceremony vows. They laughed and cried together as they celebrated the best day of their lives.
A couple days after the wedding, we went out to the desert for some natural portraits. Amber opted for her hair down and a more colorful bouquet in coral and yellow tones to complement the scenery. This is always an option for couples who aren’t able to leave the venue for portraits during the main event. I love being able to create beautiful bridal images without the hecticness of the wedding day!
