Spring Mountain Ranch is one of my absolute favorite locations for portraits of all kinds! It’s not too far outside the city, only about half an hour away from the center of Las Vegas. It offers a little bit of everything: views of the famous Red Rock National Conservation Area, cacti, joshua tees, a field of green grass, large trees, a white fence, a rustic ranch house and even cows! It’s perfect for those that want a little bit of desert and a little bit of greenery in their shoot.
The L family is new to Vegas and wanted to embrace the beauty outside of the city. Their four young kids were absolutely adorable, and while we always start out with the money shot of all the faces looking at the camera, my favorite images are those where the kids get distracted and start to do their own thing. The kids’ individual snuggles with the mom and dad are also just beautiful memories for their parents. This session was on such a beautiful desert afternoon and I think we got some really gorgeous images for this happy family of six!
