In late 2015, I was so happy to be asked to participate in the Bridal Spectacular‘s annual magazine photoshoot. This is the fifth time I’ve been a part of one of their wedding fashion shoots, and it was definitely one of my favorites! The shoot took place at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort just outside of town. If you haven’t been to their venue, you need to check it out! It’s simply amazing – the view of the water from the ceremony arch and the sun setting on the mountains from the full-size windows of the reception room… the serenity of the course takes your breath away. There was only one thing standing in the way of all us photographers and some amazing images… the WIND. I say WIND in all caps because it was quite honestly the windiest day of 2015. The cathedral veils were a-blowin’ and we had to chase them down more than once. Nevertheless, the frozen models pulled all their strength together, the hair and makeup team was on call, the event decor stylists were ready for anything, and it turned out to be one of my most favorite photoshoots ever! I love the setting sun with the desert landscape. It’s truly a unique Las Vegas look that brides and grooms just can’t get anywhere else.
