Las Vegas locals Janelle + Billie are planning their New York elopement for later this year, so they wanted their desert engagement session to reflect the place they call home. Desert National Wildlife Refuge, otherwise known as Corn Creek, is my newest location find and truly a hidden gem outside the city. It has the perfect mix of greenery, water, tall reeds, wide open land, and sweeping views. Janelle + Billie actually had to reschedule their first session date because of a wind advisory (thank you Las Vegas spring season), but this summer day turned out to have the most amazing, calm weather and absolutely glowing sunset. The couple laughed their way through the session, but were also experts at turning on the romance and gazing adorably into each other’s eyes. Not to mention they are a super sexy couple, am I right? What a lovely pair and a true love story. I couldn’t be happier for these two and after this stunning photoshoot, Desert National Wildlife Refuge engagement sessions are quickly becoming my favorite!
