I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Kelley + Dave many times, including their gorgeous luxe wedding at Keep Memory Alive. After a couple years of wedded bliss, they decided to expand their family and I earned a new role in their lives: maternity photographer! Move over Shea and Logan (their two lovable labs), a new kid was coming to town. For their annual holiday card photos, Kelley + Dave decided to announce their pregnancy and brought their pups along with matching “big brother” and “big sister” scarves. They also used their first ultrasound photo in a few images in case you couldn’t get the hint from the dogs. 🙂

Six months later, we included the dogs again in some loving in-home portraits. Using your home is a great way to make memories of your love and pregnancy experience, and it’s a way to freeze this moment in your lives… your home, your furniture, your pets, your nursery. I absolutely love the intimacy it brings into a maternity session.
