Nikki and David were married on a beautiful summer day at TPC Summerlin – one of my favorite golf courses to shoot at. Nikki got ready at the JW Marriott, which has beautiful decor and spacious rooms. She and her girls did some fun group shots in their robes before it was time to put on the dress. At TPC, we did a first look before the ceremony, and the last bit of sun peaked out from behind the trees. Then a dramatic, stormy sky gave us a really cool backdrop for their ceremony and portraits. One of my favorite parts of the day was the end of the ceremony, when guests lit sparklers after the first kiss and cheered them back down the aisle as husband and wife. Usually sparkler exits are saved for the end of the reception, but something about those warm, bright sparklers with the moody evening sky made for a gorgeous photo.
The newlyweds entered their reception to wild applause and had a little huddle with their bridal party on the dance floor. The room was decorated with a Tiffany blue and chocolate brown palette, including candles, sparkling linens, and uplighting. Nikki and David danced the night away with their close friends and family in that stunningly decorated room. Congrats you two and thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer!
