Lisa and Chris are engaged to be married in Las Vegas in 2015, but they live and play in Southern California. After they booked me to photograph their wedding at TPC Summerlin later this year, I jumped at the chance to meet them at the beach for their sunset engagement session! It worked out perfectly – we spent an evening photographing them in the sand and sea-breeze, and then I got to have my birthday weekend in California, enjoying the ocean and sipping (and occasionally guzzling) some lovely wine in the gorgeous vineyards of Temecula. I love combining business and pleasure trips!
Lisa and Chris wanted to incorporate their true love in their portraits – their pup Lola. She happily indulged our photoshoot, wearing a variety of cute chalkboard signs, giving sloppy kisses as requested, and wagging her tail adorably. I’m a total dog person myself, so I love it when people include their animals for some of their shots. We really couldn’t have asked for a prettier day to celebrate their engagement. Only a few months till I get to photograph them again!
